LEMA has specialised in the delivery of apprenticeships in Engineering since 2008 servicing the sector in the Black Country and surrounding areas.

Due to the growth and success of this academy and demand from the industry, LEMA opened a second academy in 2014 in central Birmingham, servicing the West Midlands and touching the surrounding areas of Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire.

Our delivery is unique, in that we offer a 6 week pre apprenticeship programme which allows us to work with our learners to enable them to learn new skills and fully prepare them for the world of work and the next step in vocational training. This also serves to ensure that employers are recruiting young people that have made an informed decision concerning their chosen career path and are ready for work.

We have a dedicated and skilled delivery team who are Engineers by trade who develop these young people through real work life experience. Our team of support staff include learner recruitment and employer engagement and a dedicated Academy Manager in each academy.
